The Lacombe & District Chamber of Commerce is inviting residents and visitors to attend the 42nd Annual Trade Show and Market Place, taking place at the Gary Moe Sports Complex on Friday, April 18, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

With over 80 vendors, free family activities, and a strong community focus, this event continues to be a staple in Lacombe's spring calendar.

Among the many highlights this year is the appearance of the Easter Bunny, along with free family Easter photos.

Children will have plenty to look forward to thanks to a trio of free bouncy castles, and animal lovers can take part in a pet adoption event featuring three local organizations.

A local coffee truck and mini doughnut truck will also be on-site throughout the weekend.

Admission to the event is just $1, and that money supports a good cause. “That is going to our scholarship funds that we give out annually,” said Chamber executive director Wendy Buyer. “That goes out to students in the Lacombe district area that have an attachment to a Lacombe and District Chamber member.”

This year, the Chamber will be awarding two scholarships, each valued at $1,215, which will be given out at the end of the school year.

Whether you're browsing booths, taking family photos, or bouncing with the kids, this year’s event has something for everyone.
