Construction season is now in full bloom throughout the Foothills.

With that also comes more rock chips and cracked windshields.

Brian Grover, co-owner of Carstar Collision and Glass Repair in Okotoks, says they are seeing an increase in traffic.

"Definitely, definitely this time of season is busier for sure, but we can always get you in within a day or two."

Grover added that most times, rock chips can be fixed on the spot, depending on how busy they are, but booking in advance is best.

With the increase in population in Alberta over the last number of years, some people moving here from other provinces are also noticing how many more rock chips they are getting.

"In Alberta, it seems like they use more fine rocks. Other provinces seem to use more sand and salt versus the rock pebbles they use in Alberta."

If you're in need of repair, he says to just give them a call and they'll get you in.
