Slate of candidates set for federal election

The countdown is on toward this year’s federal election called for April 28. 

As of April 9, the slate of candidates has been finalized. Discover Humboldt will be monitoring activities in three ridings: Carlton Trail – Eagle Creek which includes Humboldt, Yorkton – Melville with its western border at Highway 6 including Watson, and Moose Jaw – Lake Centre – Lanigan which includes Lanigan, Watrous and areas south. 

Candidates from these ridings have been invited to participate in profile interviews, and Discover Humboldt will present those reports as candidates make themselves available.

Voter information cards should be in mailboxes. If you did not receive one or if the information is incorrect, use the Online Voter Registration Service to check your registration, register or update your address, or call us at 1-800-463-6868 or 1-800-361-8935 (TTY) for assistance. 

Elections Canada offices are now open for early polling.
