The Easter long weekend is almost here, and with that comes church services on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
St. Francis De Sales is planning their Good Friday service for 3:00 p.m., with the Stations of the Cross happening at 6:30 p.m. They have an Easter Sunday service at 11:00 a.m.
St. Benedict Anglican Church has its Good Friday service from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and its Easter Sunday Eucharist and Holy Baptism goes from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The High River Alliance Church is holding a joint Good Friday service with the High River Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. until about 11:30 a.m., with separate Easter Sunday services at their usual Sunday service times.
High River's Full Gospel church, now known as The Crossing, has a Family Easter Party planned for Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m., including face painting, crafts and an Easter egg hunt; kids need to be registered.
The High River United Church has a Good Friday service at 10:00 a.m., and their Easter Sunday service is also at the same time.
The Foothills Salvation Army Church also has an Easter Sunday service at 10:30 a.m., followed by a potluck lunch at 11:45 a.m.
And the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has an Easter Sunday service from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
