Okotoks restaurant cracks list of Canada's top brunch and lunch spots

An Okotoks restaurant is getting national attention for its mid-day fare.

The Heartland Café has been named one of Canada’s 100 best brunch and lunch spots by OpenTable.

The list was compiled using diner reviews and demand metrics from the platform’s users.

It's one of 14 Alberta restaurants on the list, with others including favourites from Calgary, Edmonton, Banff, Canmore, and Beaumont.

Ontario dominated the list, with 56 locations total, followed by British Columbia with 22. Alberta had the third most.

The Heartland Café is no stranger to recognition from OpenTable.

It has landed spots on a few of their past lists, including being named one of Canada's most romantic restaurants multiple times.
