The West End area was filled with smoke Saturday evening.
A fire broke out in a small home on Ingersoll Street between Sargent Avenue and Ellice Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m.
The fire started at the back of the house before spreading.
Strong winds made it difficult for crews to keep the fire under control.
There is no word on injuries at this time.
Fire officials continue to investigate.
