It's Election Day. Campaigns wrapped over the weekend with federal party leaders taking one more chance to sway Canadians ahead of the April 28 voting day.

Those who haven't voted will have the chance at their assigned polling stations, which you can find through your voting card, or online here. Advanced polling saw record numbers this year, including locally, with over 7 million ballots cast prior to Monday.

For an easy voting process, it's important to have voter card with you, along with a piece of accepted ID. Anyone who didn't receive a card in the mail likely has outdated information but can still register at the polling stations. People can also register online here but should remember to bring a printed copy of the registration certificate to sign "only at your polling station in front of the poll worker who is processing your registration" according to Elections Canada.

Peak hours for voting are early in the morning, and after 4:00 PM according to Elections Canada, and if you want to avoid the rush the least busy time to go is between 10:00 AM to noon, and 12:00-4:00 PM. While hours may vary, polls around the nation are set to be open for 12 hours today.
