Abrio Place (senior living) is thankful for a recent donation from the Rotary Club of Airdrie that allows residents to spend more time outdoors.

Melissa Bevan, the lodge manager for Abrio Place, is thankful for the $10,000 donation.

"The Airdrie Rotary Club is fantastic for thinking about us and giving a donation that our residents will enjoy for a long time."

She explained that the gazebo is quite an asset, given where Abrio Place is located.

"We are in a little bit of an industrial area, so it makes it more homey for them. It gets them to go out more and just be a part of the community as well."

Since opening its doors in 2023, Abrio has been a busy place, Bevan explained.

"We have 93 residents, we do have quite a significant wait list. We are always full, and residents enjoy being here."

She concluded by once again thanking the Airdrie Rotary Club for the donation that allowed Abrio Place to get the gazebo.

"We appreciate it, and we will continue to look forward to working with them and helping wherever we can as well."
