Semi-truck rollover slows traffic west of Portage

Traffic is moving slowly west of Portage la Prairie following a motor vehicle collision involving a semi-truck.

The accident occurred shortly after noon today, about three kilometres west of the city.

According to initial reports, the semi-truck appears to have rolled onto its side.

As a result, Highway 1 at 42 Rd West is currently closed with a partial lane closure along the Trans-Canada Highway.
