With the 2025 federal election now in the rearview mirror, what happens to all the election signs all over the city?
According to the City of Airdrie, the signs must now be removed within three days of the election, so that means they should all be gone by Friday morning.
If the signs are not removed within the three days, you can call the City of Airdrie, and they will deal with the situation.
Please be on the lookout for local candidate volunteers who will be removing the signs throughout the city over the next few days.

Airdrie's Blake Richards was re-elected as Member of Parliament for the Airdrie-Cochrane riding.
On election night, Richards stated that he is thankful to have been elected to serve his riding once again.
"It never stops being an honour to know that people have put their trust in you to be their representative, and it's not something I take lightly, and I'll continue to work with everything I have at that job."
Richards is looking towards the future and says he will be standing up for the communities he serves, the province and the country.
He also mentioned that his election signs will be going into storage as he wants to be ready for when the next election happens.
