What’s included in a Genesis Place monthly pass

Monthly pass holders receive full access to all Genesis Place amenities, drop-in fitness classes, aquatics, and scheduled programming. The pass also includes:

  • Preferred child care rates: $15 per month for one child, or $30 for two or more; valid daily for up to two hours

  • A free guest pass on the first Thursday of each month, matching the pass holder’s access level

  • A complimentary wellness consultation with a Genesis Place Wellness Specialist

  • A 10 per cent discount on registered programs and personal training

All of these perks are included in the cost of a continuous monthly pass. They are not sold separately.

Subsidy options through Airdrie Fair Access

Low-income residents may qualify for up to a 75 per cent discount on passes and registered programs through the Airdrie Fair Access (AFA) program.

Eligibility is based on household size and income. For example, a family of four earning under $56,724 qualifies for the highest subsidy level. Two other tiers offer 50 per cent or 25 per cent discounts, depending on income.

Applicants must reside in Airdrie and meet income thresholds based on Statistics Canada’s Low-Income Cut-Off Before Taxes (LICO-BT). Full application details are available at airdrie.ca.

Other access options

Genesis Place passes are also available through the Airdrie Public Library’s lending program, which allows members to borrow a facility pass for up to two weeks.

Corporate discounts are available for employers enrolling four or more staff in the continuous monthly pass program. Eligible companies can receive up to 10 per cent off per pass, provided the minimum is maintained.
