Paramedics called to Airdrie high school

A Hold and Secure was in place at George McDougall High School this afternoon.

According to an AHS spokesperson, an ambulance was called to the school.

"Around 1:30 p.m., an ambulance did respond to a medical concern."

No further details were released about the student.

The Hold and Secure restricted access to hallways and the front entrance for a short amount of time to allow paramedics to work without interruption.
