Fire ban has been issued for the RM of Usborne & RM of St. Peter

Warm and windy conditions on the central prairies are leading to a number of fire bans being issued by rural municipalities. 

On May 6, fire bans have been issued in the RM of Bayne and the RM of Viscount. 

These join bans that have been issued further to the east in the following RMs: 

  • #338 Lakeside 

  • #308 Big Quill 

  • #398 Pleasantdale 

  • #337 Lakeview 

  • #307 Elfros 

  • #336 Sasman 

  • #276 Foam Lake 

Fire bans have been issued throughout much of north central Saskatchewan. For the latest details, check the Fire Bans link from the Government of Saskatchewan.  

While file bans are subject to local bylaws, in all cases, they mean no open fires or controlled burns.
