Temporary closure to impact southbound traffic on 5th Ave. NW next week: City

Repairs to a waterline and the removal of a collapsed storm vault will necessitate the temporary closure of the southbound lane of 5th Avenue NW from River Street W to the Thunderbird Viaduct onramp next week.

The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 12, with an expected completion date of May 17, weather permitting.

Temporary detours will be in place and only traffic heading southbound on 5th Avenue NW will be impacted, northbound traffic on 5th Avenue NW from Manitoba Street will not be affected.

The City of Moose Jaw asks residents to remain outside of barricades and follow all temporary signage for the project's duration.
