The Morris Advanced Robotics team closed out the VEX World Championships in Dallas, Texas with a 3-7 record.
In the final update, leader, JP Jamieson, noted the team (88875M) lost its final two matches (the last by only one point).
"(There was) lots of great learning from playing teams from all over the world," he added.
Overall, the team (88875M) finished #221 out of the over 800 teams at the tournament in the Skills Competition. This is a season high for both their driver score, and autonomous score.
After the team's run came to an end, all attention turned to the finals where nearly ten thousand people watched the best in the world on the final stage.
"The team wants to thank all of the sponsors, donors, and supporters in Morris, and across Manitoba for their support," added Jamieson. "Also thank you for your interest in the Morris Advanced Robotics team! The minute the finals ended, you may not be surprised to hear the team is already excitedly planning next year's robot!"
