A planned production outage at the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant (BPWTP) is in the works for tomorrow. Tentatively scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. and is expected to last 16 hours. According to the City of Moose Jaw (speaking on behalf of the BPWTP) the work in necessary to continue ongoing construction at the facility.

Water currently held in the city's reservoirs will allow for uninterrupted service for residents during the outage. The city states that water and wastewater staff will continuously monitor reservoir water levels during the outage and provide updates in the event of changes to the project and its duration.

Production is slated to resume at 11 p.m. on May 13.
