Sagehill Community Futures, in conjunction with Mid-Sask Community Futures, presents a must attend seminar for those businesses and community organizations looking to get a leg up on promotions and marketing.
Marketing Essentials Bootcamp is coming to Humboldt on May 28 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Bella Vista Inn. It’s a focused, one-day workshop that has been designed to help entrepreneurs and community group representatives craft clear, effective and impactful marketing strategies.
“The in-person and interactive session will help identify their company’s ideal customer; highlight what makes their offerings, services or products unique; and choose the best marketing channels for their products and services,” says Susan Wehage, director of Sagehill Community Futures. “It’s about developing a marketing strategy, or if you have one, it’s about adding on.”
In the case where business owners feel their marketing strategy is a bit “all over the place,” Wehage says the Bootcamp is geared to help refocus and better target clients, customers and goals.
Community organizations like service clubs or local rec boards can also benefit, Wehage says. It can help out with ideas for fundraising, supportive activities, membership growth and a host of volunteer community needs.
“We’re excited to be bringing this into Humboldt, and we’re fortunate to be working with our colleagues in the Outlook area at Mid-Sask Community Futures.”
The hands-on, practical strategies and tools in this workshop will ensure participants walk away with useful ideas that will improve the effectiveness of their marketing.
Lunch, snacks and workshop materials are included in the course fee ($50/person). More information and the registration link are available at the Sagehill Community Futures website.
