Gloria Emerson, age 77, of Quill Lake, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 29 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with family at her side
Gloria was born in Elrose, SK on September 9, 1947. Predeceased by her parents Clemen Sedgwick and Jean Sedgwick (Sinclair). Gloria is the second oldest of her 3 siblings. Survived by Orville (Camille) Sedgwick of Elrose, SK and family; predeceased by her sister Judy (Ken) Coulter of Elrose, SK and family; and survived by her youngest brother Donald (Vicki) Sedgwick of Elrose, SK and family
Gloria is survived by her three children, Darren (Sheri) Emerson of Medicine Hat, AB, and their son Keyshawn. Darla (Ron) Laybourne of Leroy, SK and their two sons Robert (Kayla) Laybourne & Aiden (Kendra) Laybourne and their daughter Everlee. Devin (Bansri) Emerson of Brandon, MB
Over the years, Gloria worked at many different jobs, including Dog ‘n’ Suds restaurant in Rosetown, SK, one of her favorites, Quill Lake Credit Union and Gulf Oil. She loved cats, garage sales, playing cards and Yahtzee, as well as feeding her birds
Her kind spirit, nurturing heart, and love of her family will be sadly missed. She had many close friends that she kept in touch with over the years that will miss her dearly, including her close friend, Ken Mighton
A private graveside service will be held at a later date
