One Hope Canada is ramping up their summer with two Manitoba concert fundraisers and a new campaign to help kids go to camp!
The Heath Brothers will be performing in concert next week in Winnipeg and Winkler, returning to the stage to raise awareness and funds for One Hope Canada summer camp programs.
"We're really excited to have the three Heath Brothers coming back to Manitoba next week to kick off their western Canada support-raising tour for us," shares Marketing Director Kelly Rempel. "This is a group of young guys who came through for us last year as well. They have a huge passion for music and the gospel and sharing the gospel with students in particular."
Rempel says the Heath Brothers have a passion to share the gospel with young people by sharing their music and their message in public schools. "They have about 40,000 kids so far who have heard the gospel and their music so it's a really amazing ministry! And we're excited they're coming here!"
The 3 Heath Brothers are a contemporary/worship style trio from North Carolina, consisting of Nicholas, Clayton and Christian Heath. They have gained popularity since their formation in 2018 and have generated over 100 million views on social media.
"Their music is kind of like a pop-worship sound and really appeals to all ages," explains Rempel. "We actually have a 90-year-old lady who is super-excited about them coming back to Manitoba!"
The Heath Brothers will be launching One Hope Canada's brand new Adopt-a-Bunk monthly giving program; a really neat way for folks to help kids (many from lower income families) get to camp this summer!
(More information can be found at adoptabunk.ca).
“So, as I mentioned, Adopt-a-Bunk is a brand-new initiative," shares Rempel. "Maybe someone has gone to camp, had an amazing experience, and has special memories tied to a specific cabin they stayed in. Now, through this program, donors can actually sponsor a bunk in that cabin. This creates an opportunity for another camper to have a similar life-changing experience—maybe even encountering Jesus for the first time, which is really powerful."
"It’s a meaningful way for people to engage with camp ministry and support the work being done—especially for families who may be struggling financially," she adds. "This program helps make camp accessible for their kids."
Rempel says it's easy to get involved.
Adopt-a-Bunk is a monthly sponsorship program. "Just go to adoptabunk.ca, where you can choose your province and your specific camp. You’ll find photos and impact stories to help guide your decision—whatever tugs at your heartstrings," she says.
A gift of $41/month provides a high quality, Gospel-rich camp experience that introduces kids to Jesus and supports them as they grow in their faith. Participants choose their region, pick their camp, select the cabin, and make a difference that lasts for a lifetime.
Once you sign up, participants receive a welcome package with a prayer card and more information about the camp, including ways to pray.
"Throughout the year, we’ll stay in touch with updates and stories about how your gift is making a difference. Adopt-a-Bunk is launching alongside the Three Heath Brothers Tour and is available for sponsoring bunks in cabins not just in Manitoba, but across Canada,” adds Rempel.
