Larry R. Reimer, 76, of Steinbach passed away Monday, May 12th at his residence. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, 2 sons, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and their families. He was predeceased by 1 brother.
The celebration of life for Larry R. Reimer will be held Friday, May 16th at 2pm at Crossings Funeral Care, Steinbach with private family interment at Blumenort EMC Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the chapel one hour prior to the service.
Donations may be made to Steinbach Bible College.

In loving memory of Larry R. Reimer age 76 who passed on Monday, May 12, 2025 at his home where he was surrounded by those who loved him. Larry was predeceased by his parents Martin and Gertrude, and his brother Arlen. Larry leaves behind his wife of 43 years Jenny, and his two children: Josh (Mica), and Benjamin. As well as two sisters; Teresa and Eleanor (Cornie), one brother; Jim (Mary), grandchildren; Rogan, Navlin and Sayer, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Larry met Jenny while studying Spanish at Rio Grande college in Texas. They quickly got married, settled down in Manitoba having two children, Josh and Benjamin. Even in his most recent stay in the hospital he was finding staff members who spoke Spanish and would speak to them. He frequently would read from his Spanish bible to further study the language. In addition to learning Spanish, Larry had many hobbies, becoming proficient in many of them. His hobbies included: photography, playing guitar, and SCUBA diving.
One of Larry’s biggest passion projects is a made-from-scratch cabin. This structure, built on family land, was a 20 year labour of love and was finished as a gift to his family the year before he passed.
Larry was a strong Christian, studying theology at Steinbach Bible College. His passion for his family was only rivaled by his passion for God and would study the word whenever possible.
Viewing will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 pm on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Crossings Funeral Care. A celebration of life beginning at 2:00 pm will be in the reception area at Crossings Funeral Care. A private family interment will take place at a later date in the Blumenort Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Larry's memory to the Steinbach Bible College.
