One of the biggest birthday parties of the year is returning next month.

June 22 will be a busy day at the Big Fun Inflatable Park as it will be hosting (once again) the 4th Annual Carson's Birthday (turning 12) Bash from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., which will help raise funds for Autism Calgary.

Dustin Horlacher, the father of Carson, explained why they host a big birthday bash.

"Everyone deserves a birthday, and everyone deserves to be included.  This event allows everybody to come out and celebrate their birthday, or come out and have fun with people who are celebrating theirs. Everyone's invited."

Horlacher explained that there will be all kinds of fun activities going on and even some special guests.

It is encouraged that you register, as it will help the organizers keep track of numbers. To register, it only costs $2 (which will go towards Autism Calgary). If you would like to register, click HERE.

"If you can't afford that, let us know and we will put you on the VIP list and you will be able to walk right on in."

Last year, around 600 people showed up at the birthday party.

"It's great to see how much it's grown and see how many people it affects. It's huge to be able to open the door to everyone. I know people in Saskatchewan, Vancouver, and Edmonton who have heard about this and started hosting their own kind of birthday bashes."

He concluded by saying he would love to see the event keep growing and keep seeing others host their own large birthday bashes.
