Ralph O'Brien of Holland, MB formerly of Sidney, MB, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025 in Holland at the age of 86 years.
He is survived by his children, Theresa Johnson, Lance (Diane) O’Brien, Regina (Lorne) Farrell, Charmin O’Brien and Tracy O’Brien; his grandchildren, Michelle (Ryan), Tim, Wade, Sheldon (Ryanne), Steven (Rachel), Jennifer (Shawn), Michael, Dustin, Amber, Stephanie, Stacey, Natasha (Jeff), Jessica (Tyler) and Tanya; his great-grandchildren, Spencer, Abigail, Layne, Lexi, Zachary, Nolan, Carter, Colby, Bentley, Abigail, Arabella, Jack, Kayden, Mason, Maddisyn, Sadie, Nathan, Nayana, Joslyn, Gavin, Darian, Maddisyn, Emma, Sawyer, Blair and April. He also leaves to mourn his in-laws, Ruth Hancock, Doreen (Alan) Lowe, Barb Baxter, Ted (Rhoda) Hansley, Betty (Ken) Martin, Jim Colvin and Steve Letniak; and the Helliwell family, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Janet (nee Hansley); his parents, Harvey O’Brien and Mabel (nee Hall); his parents-in-law, Norm Hansley and Rhea (nee Fox); his siblings, Ray O’Brien, Pat Helliwell, Donna O’Brien, Sam O’Brien, Velma O’Brien, Mervyn O’Brien and Dinah O’Brien; his in-laws, Dean Neumann, Patsy Hansley, Norma Colvin and Linda Letniak.
Cremation has taken place. Private Family Graveside Ash Interment will take place on July 13, 2025 at Sidney Cemetery
