The Hauser Family farms just outside of Pilger, and that was the setting for our second spring season Meal in the Field. The clouds parted after a few days of rain (or at least the threat of it), so that the Hauser family could take a break from the field and enjoy a supper, expertly prepared by the BV, with the Bolt FM crew.
Tiffany Hauser called in to the studio to invite everyone for a roadside meal that had passersby on Highway 20 envious. She graciously thanked everyone for coming out to share in the closing of another successful seeding season.
Brian Hauser said the family help was welcome this year as seeding closed in on completion within a day or two. Some of that help came from extended family, like cousin Floyd Langenhoff who made his way to Saskatchewan from High River, AB to help with this year’s effort.
