On Saturday, May 24, the Moose Jaw Fire Department (MJFD) and EMS responded to a call for service to rescue a motorcyclist who went over the guardrail on the north side of the Town 'n' Country Mall parking lot.

The incident occurred at approximately 10 a.m. and resulted in non-life-threatening injuries for the motorcyclist who was thrown from their bike, landing on the embankment below.

MJFD performed a rope rescue to return the driver to the top of the embankment for transport to the hospital.
