Officers seek help in case of dumped goose meat

On May 13, 2025, Wadena Conservation Officers received information that a pile of snow goose breasts were unlawfully dumped and wasted. Upon investigation, officers determined that there were 86 breasts left to waste. Based on the stage of decomposition, officers believe the goose breasts were dumped between May 10 and 12. The location of the wasted meat is approximately 6 miles northwest of Quill Lake. Officers collected some evidence at the scene but are requesting the public’s assistance on the case.
