Senior baseball action returns to Kindersley on Tuesday night with a pair of Fertile Valley Baseball League games.

All four Kindersley teams are in action, starting at 6:00 PM when the Cubs face the Raiders, the first half of a doubleheader as the Stallions and Klippers fire things up afterwards at 8:00.

The Cubs opened their season with a 17-11 win in Rosetown on Sunday in the league's only game of the season so far. The Raiders had their Sunday game against Oyen cancelled, now set to join the Stallions and Klippers in making their season debut tonight.

Oyen will get things underway Wednesday against Rosetown to get their season underway, leaving the Eatonia Wheat Kings as the last team to start up with their first games not scheduled until June. The final game of the week and in May will be Thursday when the Stallions host the Klippers on Berard.

In other action

The Unity Cardinals have a road game tonight in the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League, heading up to Silver Lake to renew things with the Standard Hill Lakers after facing off in last year's playoffs. First pitch for that game is at 6:30.

Looking ahead to tomorrow there are two local games of interest. Beechy heads to Dinsmore for a 6:30 game in the Coteau Hill Baseball League, and then Macklin travels to Killam for the second game of the Battle River Baseball League season.

Two more games end the week in the CHBL as Outlook travels to Elrose on Thursday for a 6:30 start, Eston going to Riverhurst Friday for another 6:30 game.
