Rainbow Road Bridge in Chestermere partially closed

The Rainbow Road Bridge in Chestermere is partially closed on Tuesday, May 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for construction. 

The north end of the road has an alternating one-lane closure in place and has flaggers redirecting traffic. 

The construction crew is installing flashing beacons, bases, and pedestrian crosswalk poles. 

These new installations aim to improve pedestrian safety and add signage and posts to better alert motorists. 

The construction is expected to be done on Thursday.
