When will the Lions Splash Park be open?

The Lions Splash Park is set to open by the start of next month.

According to the Town of Strathmore's website, the splash park operates between June 1 and September 1, depending on the weather.

"The hours of operation are 10:00am to 8:00pm every day," wrote the town. "The splash park may close without warning in periods of inclement weather."

Last year was a short season for the splash park, which closed in early June as the town implemented Stage 4 water restrictions following an emergency water main break in Calgary.

The splash park reopened in July before closing for the season on August 26 as water restrictions were put back in place.

The splash park is supported by the Strathmore Lions and has been a staple of the community since 2009.
