FeelGood Gym and Wellness Centre is celebrating their one-year anniversary on Sunday, June 1, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The in-house market is taking place at the centre and will feature various prizes, food from B-Ranch Smokehouse, and games for all ages. They also are giving away a golf day pass for up to four people.
“We have seen so much growth and seeing so many of our clients come so far in their healing journey has just been absolutely amazing,” said Jessica Ross, clinical esthetician and CEO, reflecting on the past year.
“We’ve had the privilege of seeing people come in and they don’t have much for function, they don’t have much for mobility and by the time they’ve left the clinic three months later they are up and walking, and they can chase their grandkids around. They can go hang out for the day at the zoo with their family and it's just absolutely amazing to see what that can do for somebody.”
The celebration will feature some vendors as Ross revealed plans to work with more vendors and companies in the future.
“Right now, we are working with Eagle Lake Nurseries to put together greenhouse yoga where we can incorporate plants and how they do have a big part to play in our health and wellness,” Ross shared.
She also mentioned the company’s goals as they go into their second year.
“We want to close the gap on health and wellness here in Strathmore. We know it’s extremely hard to get all-in-one healthcare. We hope to expand so that we can be your one-stop shop. We want to be able to make it more accessible for everyone in the community as well because health and wellness go really well for longevity.”
The centre is planning to add more classes, therapists, and outdoor yoga to their services.
The company extended an invitation to those in the community to come and check out the celebration.
