For Executive Director Tanya Chateauneuf, this BBQ was an opportunity to give back to the thriving business community.

“If you know one thing about the Winkler business community, is that they’re very supportive and collaborative,” Chateauneuf said. “We always have so much success reaching out and partnering with our local businesses."

Smokies provided by Gardenland Co-op and fries by The Bunker were on the menu for the BBQ. As for their sponsors, Chateauneuf shared, “We’re just so grateful to all of them”.

Doug Eidse, president of the Chamber of Commerce, took time from serving smokies to talk about the BBQ as an opportunity to come together. “...it’s just a fun day to get together and network a little,” he said.
