Hundreds of neighbours packed Stonegate Field on Saturday, May 31, for the Airdrie Neighbourhood Knockout — a jam-packed, grill-fired, bounce-castled bash presented by Air 106.1 FM that transformed the neighbourhood into a full-on festival zone.
From backyard prizes to sizzling good time, the two-hour block party ran from 1 to 3 p.m. and pulled out all the stops: inflatable fun, roving magic, and a surprise drop-in from Airdrie’s Fire Department.
Lines formed early for food from local favourites. The Canadian Brewhouse served up a variety of options, while The Flying Puck dished out pizza, poutine, and bacon-wrapped sausages. Dessert came courtesy of Rocky Roadz Ice Cream and Mini Donuts, with soft drinks provided by Co-Op.
One lucky attendee walked away with the event’s grand prize draw — a full outdoor living bundle that included a Master Chef Grill Turismo 4-Burner Convertible BBQ with Side Burner and patio set from Canadian Tire, HomeOne Lighting’s custom light package and installation, and a CO-OP BBQ food pack.
More prizes came courtesy of local sponsors, including gift cards from Pearle Vision, Hot Water LeisureScapes, Speedy Junk, and Byoode Bar. A 50/50 raffle in support of Community Links also ran during the afternoon, and several vendors held their own giveaways at onsite booths.
The Neighbourhood Knockout was powered by Cooper Equipment Rentals and proudly supported by media sponsor Rockyview Aerials.
Sponsors also included:
Airdrie Air, Bin Blasters, Apple Creek Golf, Byoode Bar, ATR Logistics, Viper Transport, Hot Water Pools and Spas, Pearle Vision, White Peak Enterprises, Angela McNeill, The Flying Puck, OK Tire, Canadian Tire, The Canadian Brewhouse, Doctor Green, Ruben’s Veggies, Firehouse Subs, HomeOne Lighting, Inflatable Magic and more and GTSI Promotional.
