Traffic, transit and school bus access impacted by South Hill road renewal

As part of this year's road renewal projects, 16th Avenue SW is the latest in the city to be hit with a temporary road closure. Beginning today, 16th Avenue SW between Coteau Street and Wellington Drive/Vaughan Street will be closed to allow for asphalt milling, paving and deep repairs.

Pedestrian traffic to businesses and residences will be unaffected, but traffic detours will be in place until the project's estimated completion date of June 13. 

The closure will impact Transit Route #4 - Westmount as well as both morning and afternoon school buses, as such, the bus stop located at Wellington Drive and 16th Avenue SW will be closed for the project's duration.
