The Winnipeg Police Board wants to hear from you.

They are looking for feedback from the community on how Winnipeggers would like to see policing delivered in our city.

The findings will help establish a strategic plan for the WPS from 2026 to 2030.

Anyone who works, lives, or visits the City of Winnipeg is encouraged to share their visions on what they'd like to see done differently or changes they feel would improve Winnipeg's policing.

A couple of community consultation sessions have been planned to allow Winnipeggers to speak their minds.

The first session will take place on June 25 at the Bronx Community Centre, 720 Henderson Highway, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A second meeting has been scheduled for July 23 at the Fort Rouge Leisure Centre/ Osborne Library at 625 Osborne Street from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Board will also meet with various organizations, community groups and leaders to hear their needs and expectations of policing, including newcomer, cultural and faith organizations, Indigenous leadership, child, family, youth-serving organizations and business, retail and labour.

All of the input will be compiled and used to figure out the priorities for the police service for the next five years.

Anyone unable to attend the in-person consultation is encouraged to fill out an online survey on the Board's website. It will be available until August 31, 2025.
