Last weekend featured two markets on opposite sides of Strathmore at the same time.

On Saturday (May 31) residents had the choice to visit Main Street Market's Spring Market at the Strathmore Civic Centre, and the Vintage & Vines Country Market at the Legacy Farm Project.

Both events featured dozens of local vendors selling a variety of goods, including arts, crafts, food, and 3D-printed knick knacks.

There were also food trucks available for residents to get a hot meal or a cold drink, and several activities for the kids, including a giant game of Connect Four, and a facepainting booth.

The two markets weren't competing with each other, instead promoting both events through their respective social media pages, calling it a "day of collaboration."
