Despite a rise in new listings across the Calgary region this May, Okotoks' housing supply remains relatively low.

Calgary Real Estate Board's (CREB) Regional Monthly Statistics for May 2025 show a boost in new listings and sales in Okotoks.

Despite that, available inventory didn't see much of a change, with a sales-to-new-listings ratio of 74 per cent.

Okotoks has struggled to keep pace with Calgary and other bedroom communities like Cochrane and Airdrie when it comes to supply, with sales growth remaining sluggish as a result.

The combination of limited supply and high demand has led to continued price growth, with the unadjusted benchmark price sitting at $633,900 in May.

That's an increase of two per cent, year over year.

"With fewer homes on the market, buyers are facing more competition and fewer choices," the CREB noted in its monthly summary. "This strong demand against limited supply has kept upward pressure on prices."
