The Biggar RCMP's first report of June took them around the detachment area.

The first item of note in the report had to with some suspicious activity in the Perdue area. No description details are available, but police are on the lookout for a suspect after reported break and enters to the local RM office, and also a house up for sale in the area.

Two calls from inside Biggar town limits stuck out next. The first incident involved an aggressive dog who was running loose at the upper end of Main Street in Biggar, leading to a warning for the owner. The next case involved reported theft from a residence, a porch pirate scenario as a package was taken along 3 Ave E in town.

Another call taking police out of town led members to Kinley. It concerned reports of disturbing the peace at around 10:00 PM as a pair of residents took their verbal fight outside and caused enough of a disruption to alert police.

After that situation was dealt with members returned back to Biggar for another call at 2:45 in the morning. A 25-year-old male reportedly called 911 to report his 29-year-old girlfriend for kicking him out of the house, the individual adding that he needed assistance getting back his shoes.

Semi-drivers using their engine brakes through town was another highlight from the most recent report. Find more from the Biggar RCMP, courtesy of Sgt. Dereck Crozier, below.
