The Morden Police have a case of Mischief on their hands.
Torn flags, removed signs
On May 30th, the service observed crossing flags ripped from the pedestrian crosswalk on Mountain Street near Stephen Street.

Police officers also noted that a stop sign and street signs had been taken down and placed on the ground.
‘It’s actually quite serious’
Inspector Sean Aune of the Morden Police Service has a reminder for the public following the discoveries.
“Obviously, if you're damaging any property that doesn't belong to you, it's considered Mischief. It is actually a criminal charge,” he says.

“It's actually quite serious. If you were to remove a sign, that's just simply Mischief, but if you remove, for instance, a stop sign [and it] causes an accident, you actually will hold some liability for the sign you've removed.”
Do you have information?
Inspector Aune says that there are currently no further leads about the damage, but welcomes the public to share any information they may have.
