A 30-year-old man from Winnipeg is in custody after a string of break-ins at local businesses in Carman over the past month.

The first incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on May 4th, when two people smashed a window at a business on Main St. They didn’t end up going inside and left before anything was taken.

This past weekend, on June 1st, police were called to a business on 1st St. SW shortly after 1 a.m. When they arrived, the door had been damaged, and a small amount of cash was missing.

Just a day later, on June 2nd, around 1 a.m., police responded to an alarm at a business on 4th Ave. SW. Someone had broken a glass door and stolen alcohol, using a golf club which was left at the scene.
