The Stampede breakfast tradition is older than the Midway’s wildest ride — and in 2025, it’s still going strong with dozens of free breakfasts across Calgary, Airdrie, Okotoks, and Rocky View County.
Whether you’re chasing classic pancakes and sausage or tracking down green tea stacks and Ghanaian dishes, this year’s Stampede circuit has something for every appetite. Most events are walk-up, all-ages, and cost nothing — but you’ll want to arrive early.
The majority of the listing of Stampede breakfasts has been verified using the public event listings at stampedebreakfast.ca, as of July 4. Times, locations, and event details are subject to change. Some local Airdrie breakfasts appear on the website, while others appear in local social media groups.

And if you’re looking for something a little more adventurous after your morning flapjacks, the 2025 Midway lineup promises a wild ride for your taste buds.
Running from July 4 to 13 at Stampede Park, this year’s new food lineup includes everything from Fiery Dill Coke and Freaky Tzatziki Twisted Pickles to Mopane Worm Poutine and a crispy-shelled Ramenrito. More than 70 food exhibitors will be serving up bold twists, global bites and sugary standbys throughout the grounds.
Festival favourites like corn dogs, mini donuts and funnel cakes are still on the menu, but the Midway is also offering some truly original creations — like the Spam-pede Bao from The Dumpling Hero. The Hawaiian-inspired bao bun is stuffed with savoury spam, garlic shrimp, pineapple, cucumber, seaweed and teriyaki sauce — a fusion dish named by community vote.
For those cooling off between bites, drink options range from the tropical Lava Flow Lemonade to the zany Crocodile-Aid Buckets, while sweet tooths can dig into Cowboy Candy Mango Soft Serve, Deep-Fried Cinnamon Buns, or the Lobster Tornado Roll.
