Several people were arrested in Lloydminster this week following a significant police operation tied to the execution of high-risk warrants, RCMP say.
According to RCMP there was an ongoing investigation within Lloydminster that involved assistance from Alberta RCMP’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Police Dog Services (PDS).
Mounties say specialized units were deployed to ensure public and officer safety. Several individuals were taken into custody without incident.
Three people are now facing charges:

Jesse Dillon, 33, of Edmonton, is charged with obstructing a police officer and failing to comply with a release order.

Ryan Peace, 51, of Martensville, Sask., is charged with flight from police.

Kyle Soosay, 35, of Kehewin First Nation, Alta., is charged with failing to comply with a release order.
A fourth person was released without charges. A fifth individual was arrested on allegations of public mischief and obstruction of a peace officer; charges have not yet been laid.
RCMP say Dillon was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Saskatchewan provincial court on June 19. Soosay and Peace were released on conditions. Soosay is set to appear in court June 10, while Peace is due August 10.
The Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section continues to investigate with support from Alberta RCMP specialized units.
