If you have ever wanted to check out the RCMP Musical Ride, this is your summer.

The Musical Ride performs in up to 50 different communities across Canada each year, and they make their way to each province once every four years.

That way, it helps to make sure as many Canadians as possible are able to see the Ride.

This year, the RCMP are bringing the Musical Ride to Alberta, Quebec, and the Northwest Territories.

For those who live in Foothills County, the Ride is coming nearby.

The Musical Ride will be at the Calgary Stampede from July 4 to 6 and then again from July 8 to 13.

On July 16, they will be at the Heritage Acres Farm Museum in Pincher Creek, and at Spruce Meadows on September 1, 3, and 7.

The Musical Ride dates back to the 1800s and has an Alberta connection.

Members of the North-West Mounted Police (NWMP) stationed in Fort Macleod had performed some tricks and competed with one another for the public in 1876 to help break up the relentless riding drills they were experiencing.

This is believed to be the first public performance of what would become the Musical Ride.
