Another great year of individual results and accomplishments have come and gone with the 2025 SHSAA Track and Field season now complete after provincials this past weekend.

Looking at the overall team standings, the closest West Central competitors came out of Rosetown as local athletes performed well enough to place #21 out of all schools. Rosetown finished with 160 points, the next closest local team behind them being Unity at #27 with 138.5 points.
Wilkie finished #44 with 96 points, Outlook High at #51 with 78.5 points, and other teams finished as follows:

First place finishes for West Central included Luseland's Lily Holman winning both the Girls 800m and 1500m races for intermediate, Outlook's Reise Dolan winning senior boys discus throw, Unity's Casey Lewin winning junior girls discus throw. Cabri's Sienna Watson won junior girls tetrathlon shot put.
Congratulations also go out to the rest of the local competitors who earned a spot on the podium, and to any track athlete that donned their school or district uniform over the past few weeks of competition on another great season.
