The Luseland Police Service (LPS) responded to a wide range of incidents according to their May 2025 service report.
During the month, LPS received five bylaw complaints. These included one parking issue, one noise complaint, which resulted in a Town of Luseland bylaw ticket being issued, two reports of dogs at large, and one incident involving the unlawful discharge of a firearm or similar device within town limits.
Officers also handled two harassment complaints, three reports of mischief to property, and two trespass complaints. LPS also responded to five calls related to mental health and welfare checks.
A report of missing persons was received during the month and the individuals have been located safely.

The LPS participated in a check stop operation with neighboring RCMP officers, focusing on impaired driving. The local police service received three impaired driving complaints and made one arrest for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Suspicious activity continued to be a concern, with three suspicious vehicle complaints and two wildlife-related calls.
LPS officers were also called to assist with a disturbance, an incident involving individuals unlawfully inside a dwelling, a family dispute, and a request to keep the peace during a potentially tense situation.
A theft under $5,000 was reported, though the stolen item was eventually recovered by the owner, and the case was closed. One complaint of uttering threats was also received and is under investigation.
