A chance to gather and show support for people affected by provincial wildfires, and those going to assist is taking place today in Kindersley.
It's the Saskatchewan Day of Caring radiothon for wildfire evacuees, and here in Kindersley the radio team is spearheading an opportunity for people to show their love and admiration for people going through the current hard times.
People are asked to bring signs or other cues to show support, meeting together at the ball diamonds behind the Kindersley Inn at 12:00 PM. They can be in support of the evacuees, dedicated firefighters provincewide as well as emergency workers in general, or all of the above.
