AAA goaltender with West Central roots Seth Gutenberg has had quite the ride since leaving his hometown.

Gutenberg was picked by the Red Deer Rebels in the 2024 WHL Draft after playing two years of U15 AA in Saskatoon, landing a goalie spot with U18 AAA Warman Wildcats in the process, and he can now add SJHL draft pick to his resume after being picked by the Yorkton Terriers in the third round of the 2009 born players' draft held Tuesday.
Gutenberg appeared in 18 games for Warman this past season for a 9-8-0 record. The young goaltender finished with a 3.13 GAA and .883 SV% along with picking up two shutouts and appeared in three Wildcats playoff games for an 0-1-0 record.
