A pair of investigations has the Luseland Police Service on the lookout for two alternate forms of recreational transportation.
Shared Thursday evening, recent service files out of Luseland noted a pair of possible theft investigations involving a golf cart and a horse, and police are seeking input from the public to help track them down.
The first report came on June 6 when a golf cart was reported stolen from the Bell Acres Golf and Country Club in Luseland. Police were given information that would indicate the golf cart was stolen anytime between Sunday June 1 and June 3.
The missing horse report came in a few days later on June 11. The horse was last seen southwest of Luseland on Monday June 9, and in that two day span an extensive search was conducted around the area but the horse was not located.
Police are asking the public for further assistance with reason to believe the horse may have been stolen. The police report provided the following description via the owner for anyone on the lookout:
- Blue roan
- Mare (Female horse)
- 16 hands high (5'4" or 64" tall)
- 200lbs
- Cut on right rear leg covered with a blue wrap
- Scars on left rear leg
- goes by the name "Ocean"

If anyone has information on either of these cases, they are asked to contact the Luseland Police Service at (306)-372-4844, or the Kindersley RCMP at (306)-463-4642.
