U17 Thrashers rally to close out season with win over Chaos Green

The U17 Panther Drilling Weyburn Thrashers wrapped up their regular season with a 5-2 win over the Regina Chaos Green Thursday night at Crescent Point Place. 

Despite falling behind 2-0 in the first period, the Thrashers came storming back with four unanswered goals in the second. Branson Law sparked the comeback with back-to-back goals, the first assisted by Chloe Tuchscherer, and the second coming just over a minute later. Maddox Mohan and Lucas Hannah added to the surge, giving Weyburn a 4-2 lead heading into the final frame. 

Tayven Nordin sealed the victory midway through the third period, finishing off a play from Andrew Charlton and Mohan. 

With the win, the Thrashers finish the regular season with a record of 2-9-1.
