The Saskatchewan Roughriders hit the road to face Hamilton this weekend, aiming to build on their 1-0 start after a strong 31-26 win over Ottawa in their season opener.

After a scoreless first quarter in the season opening game, the Roughriders got the job done on offense with two second quarter touchdowns and a field goal before the half to go up 17-7 on Ottawa. They nearly matched that effort in the third with another two majors to score all 31 of their points in the middle portion of the game, the Riders holding on for dear life late in the fourth as the Redblacks made a lasting push that fell short by four points.

The Roughriders will have a new look backfield entering the game. Running back AJ Oullette is ready to roll after he finished Week 1 in street clothes, set to form a tandem with newly signed running back Ka'Deem Carey. The RB room isn't 100 per cent healthy entering this week's game with Thomas Bertrand-Hudon out of commission with an injury following a two-touchdown performance.

The Roughriders and Tiger-Cats are playing as part of a CFL doubleheader, kick-off set for 5:00 PM or following the Calgary/Toronto game opening the Saturday slate.
