The Saskatchewan RCMP has released its updated Most Wanted list, highlighting offenders across the province considered to pose a significant threat to public safety — including several individuals with ties to west-central communities.
The list, updated monthly based on the Crime Severity Index, includes individuals with active warrants whose last known locations span from Swift Current and Cabri to North Battleford and Rosetown.
Among those listed is Frazer Joseph Stone, 39, also known as Frazer James Stone. RCMP say Stone is wanted for a string of violent offences including four counts of assault with a weapon and four counts of discharging a firearm with intent. He is also charged with possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with a release order. He may be in the North Battleford or Mosquito First Nation areas. Stone is 5’11”, 170 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, and has several tattoos and a scar on his left arm. RCMP caution the public that Stone is considered violent.
Shane Conrad Scott, 55, is also on the list and may be in the Maple Creek or Piapot areas. He faces charges including two counts of assault causing bodily harm, four counts of forcible confinement, and intimidation of a justice system participant. Scott is described as 6’3”, 300 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes.
In Rosetown, residents are asked to be on the lookout for Cory Lee Rushkewich, 34, also known as “Loki.” He is wanted for aggravated assault, robbery, and multiple firearm-related offences. Rushkewich has extensive tattoos on his neck, arms, hands, and legs, including “Get Money” and “Spend Money” across his hands. He is 5’11”, 231 pounds, and missing his right index finger. He may also be in Ituna or Saskatoon.
RCMP are also searching for Brenden Ross Taylor, 34, who faces two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference. He may be in Cabri, Swift Current, or as far as Edmonton, Alta. Taylor is 5’10”, 149 pounds, with light brown hair and hazel eyes.
These individuals were selected for the most wanted list based on the severity of their alleged crimes and the risk they pose to the public. The RCMP emphasizes that this is not an exhaustive list of all wanted persons in Saskatchewan but rather a focused effort to seek public assistance in locating high-risk offenders.
RCMP stress that members of the public should not attempt to approach or apprehend any of the individuals listed.
