Rain is the only thing that can hold back another week of senior baseball starting around West Central on Monday night. There are two games on the schedule for June 16, one in the Coteau Hills Baseball League and another in the Fertile Valley Baseball League.
Starting off in the CHBL, it's going to be a special game in Elrose between the U18 Wartime Marlins and Kyle Sr. Yellowjackets.

Everything you need to know for the game is posted above as the 0-2 Yellowjackets follow up a 17-5 Wednesday loss to Beechy and head north to face the 2-3 Marlins. The Marlins beat Outlook 16-10 in their last home game back on Tuesday, before losing 8-3 to first place and undefeated Beechy also on Wednesday.

The other action gracing West Central on Monday night is an all-Kindersley matchup in the Fertile Valley Baseball League.
After a cancellation on Sunday, the Cubs and Stallions are set to tangle with each side seeking their fifth win of the season. The 4-2 Stallions are coming off a 12-1 defeat last Thursday at the hands of the Rosetown Angels, the 4-1 Cubs last game an 11-2 victory against the Kindersley Klippers, the Cubs only loss of the season coming against the Stallions by a score of 9-4 back on June 5.

After tonight, two games in both the CHBL and FVBL on Tuesday join the Unity Cardinals hosting (in Wilkie) the Glaslyn Orioles out of the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League, and then the full week slate continues with the latest Wednesday schedule out of the Battle River Baseball League featuring the Macklin Lakers visiting Amisk on June 18, coming off an extra innings win against Veteran last week to remain undefeated.
